Description
This hand-moulded facing brick is made from Limburger löss clay from the Kesselt tableland in the valley of the Meuse and revalue with raw materials from the Volcanic Eifel
Pressure
The facade bricks (non-perforated) have five sand covered sides and one oblong groove. The structure looks rugged with fine and irregular grooves in the sandy surface. The baking process takes place in a gas-heated tunnel oven under slightly reduced atmosphere
Color
The brick has a yellowish base, with the hues ranging from yellow to light pink. Sanding is performed with rather oily and fi ne white sand responsible for the special effects
